  hi to anyone reading this, so i little bit about myself.

  i'm 24 years old born-in, all my family are in, my father is an elder.

  though i'm not fading as such i no longer believe jw.org is gods chosen organisation so you could say i'm mentally out.

  I know the feeling of having to suppress your emotions. I used to have anxiety attacks when out on field service. Are you planning to fade?

  "in" Family driving me crazy on social media

  does any other fader who maintains a minimal connection to preserve family ties have this issue:.

  i post something on ig, facebook whatever.

  and from my super zealous family i get preachy posts.

  Do they know you're out? You might want to post links to apostate websites. That should make them runaway. But if not, it seems that you'll have to take the initiative.

  [how would a jw twist the following scripture that says job offered a sin offering in case the sinned...]5.after a series of banquet days was complete, job would send for them in order to sanctify them.

  God did have a (wretched) reason to allow Satan to torture and devastate Job. Satan challenged him indicating that Job would not hold faithful if his wealth was gone. God was trying to prove that he would have remained faithful no matter what. It was an ego trip for God.

  By the way, I forget which one of the Bible Students organization I got it from but I purchased the bound volumes of the Watchtower from the beginning to 1916 (When Russell died.) as well as the Dawn series of the latest edition.

  Like the broken clock that's right twice a day? Anyone can get anything right by simply talking up a storm. One out of a thousand things he might say could come out to be semi-correct. No need for chronological voodoo. 

  As I pointed out above Russell had an atypical view of things in which 1914 would be the end of the end not the beginning of the end. The most embarrassing thing was his prediction that no war would occur in Europe or - hedging his bet - it would be a minor war before 1905. It was in 1905 that he once more changed his predictions.

  As for Russell "always" placing a disclaimer on his predictions I remember reading his book The Time is at Hand where it emphatically said:

  "True, it is expecting great things to claim, as we do, that within the coming twenty-six years all present governments will be overthrown and dissolved; but we are living in a special and peculiar time, the "Day of Jehovah," in which matters culminate quickly..."
